This year, our chapter's designated charities are Sanctuary House and Place of Hope. These facilities provide emergency housing for women and children. To be eligible, individuals must be homeless or at serious risk of becoming homeless. The residents are frequently victims of domestic abuse or serious housing emergencies. They are provided with: safe and secure overnight accommodations; three quality meals per day; case management services; alcohol, substance abuse or mental health referrals, if needed; drug and alcohol education; employability assessments; and further permanent housing assistance. Their needs for donations include: new socks and underwear for women and children; diapers of all sizes; new pillows and gently used blankets; feminine hygiene products; personal care items; kid-friendly foods; and school supplies. These facilities are operated by the Catholic Family Center.

Thank you to all the players who attended the Season Opener at Eagle Vale and donated to our Sanctuary House Charity. They greatly appreciate your generosity!
